About the Journal
Establishment
The first issue of Salaam Academic Journal was published in the spring of 2011, following a decision by the Higher Administration of Salaam University. It appeared as a 162-page volume in waziri format and was published in both Pashto and Dari; it was warmly received by the country’s academic community. At that time, in addition to the Editor-in-Chief and the Managing Editor, eight specialists from various fields, drawn from both inside and outside Salaam University, served on the journal’s Editorial Board.
